Best practices for log management

When creating a log type, follow the below best practices:

Set Auto Discovery to "Yes" if you need to collect the same log types from multiple servers.
Configure the Maximum Upload Limit on the log type page to limit a log type's usage.
While querying the data, define the data type as "number" for the number fields, and configure units so that you can aggregate the data with proper units.
Configure the sensitive data to be hashed or masked before being ingested to address security and identity concerns.
