Route 53 Hosted Zone Record Set Check
Record sets are created in a Hosted Zone to define how traffic is routed to your domain. Considering that a single Hosted Zone may contain multiple record sets, managing them could become tedious. Site24x7 gives you a simple way to keep an eye on your routing policy with the Route 53 Hosted Zone Record Set monitor.
Note: One basic monitor will allow you to monitor a total of 10 record sets Note: A monitor for record sets will be added only if 'Query Logging' is enabled from the AWS console. Learn more.
Setup and configuration
- If you haven't done it already, enable access to your AWS resource by creating Site24x7 as an IAM user or by creating a cross-account IAM role between your account and Site24x7's AWS account. Learn more.
- Next, In the Integrate AWS Account page, please make sure the Route 53 Hosted Zone Record Set checkbox is selected in the Services to be discovered field. Learn more.

Polling frequency
Site24x7 queries the AWS service level APIs and CloudWatch APIs as per the poll frequency set (1 minute to a day), to collect performance metrics. Learn more.
